About Brian
Brian Jordan graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2000 with a B.S. in Communications and earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2004. He moved into public protection early in his career and hung out at the Dauphin County Public Defender’s Office starting in 2007, where he handled an array of trial work and court duties. That early trial experience shaped the realistic aspect of his legal work and helped outline his professional path.
In 2012 he have become a shareholder at Cramer, Swetz, McManus & Jordan, P.C. The title reflects a change in role as much as in rank. He moved from a public defender’s caseload to private practice and to operating a firm that handles felony protection matters in Pennsylvania courts. The transition expanded his duties as a lawyer and as a manager.
Jordan’s work has been acknowledged by peers and professional organizations. He has been acknowledged by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and used to be decided on as certainly one of the American Society of Legal Advocates’ Top 40 Under 40 in 2014 for felony defense attorneys within the state. Those honors appear along an active document of bar association involvement.
He has served in several leadership positions inside nearby and statewide bar teams. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar and has held roles within the Monroe County Bar Association, which includes service as secretary starting in 2018 and time as president of the association. At the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers he has been lively on the board of administrators since 2013 and served in leadership in the Young Lawyers Division.
