About Bernard Kennedy
Bernard Kennedy III constructed his legal trail deliberately. He earned his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2018 and entered the Connecticut legal network soon after.
Early in his profession he served as a temporary assistant clerk for the Connecticut Superior Court in 2019. That role put him inside the courthouse and provided a close view of how judges and court body of workers handle filings, calendars and proceedings. He took that practical court exposure into private practice later the same year when he joined Goff Law Group LLC as an associate.
His associate positions thru the subsequent numerous years gave him steady, hands-on work for clients. In 2020 he used to be an associate at Prue Law Group, P.C., and in 2021 he joined Hershman Legal Group, P.C. At the ones firms he handled client intake, drafted court filings and motions, carried out studies and prepared for hearings. The assignments covered a range of things common to small and mid-sized companies and further layers of realistic knowledge in client counseling and trial preparation.
Kennedy has also maintained expert ties in the state bar. He has been a member of the Connecticut Bar Association since 2019. The membership has stored him related to ongoing legal training and state-level developments affecting court process and practice.
In 2023 he opened The Law Office of Bernard T. Kennedy III. As the proprietor he manages the day-to-day operations of a small firm whilst persevering with client work. The move to establish his personal practice followed several years of each court work and client representation at other companies. It also reflects a shift from being an associate to running a solo practice where he oversees case strategy and workplace management.
Colleagues describe him as someone who learned the mechanics of courtroom process early on and who approaches client things in a methodical manner. He has balanced roles that required at the back of-the-scenes preparation with appearances in court.
