About Benjamin W
Benjamin W Scott took an unconventional trail to the law. He finished a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Brigham Young University in 1996 and worked numerous years before returning to school. He earned his J.D. from Concord Law School in 2007 and entered the California legal community quickly after.
Early in his career Scott constructed knowledge at numerous firms and by 2014 had become a partner at Barnett, Bennett, & Scott. That role positioned him in company leadership at a comparatively younger stage of his legal career. He spent the subsequent numerous years handling the things that crossed his table and helping control company operations while continuing to develop his court and transactional knowledge.
In 2019 he moved to Wells Call as a companion. The shift introduced him into a bigger company surroundings with multiple California offices. At Wells Call he joined a group of lawyers who divide work across a network of places. His call seems on the company’s companion roster and he has persisted practicing under California licensure.
Scott’s educational background in the sciences followed by a legal diploma shapes how he approaches problems. Colleagues describe a methodical thoroughness and a preference for careful preparation. He balances that analytical approach with a realistic view of how cases and transactions development within the courts and in enterprise settings. He has treated things requiring both written advocacy and in-individual proceedings.
Outside day-to-day caseloads Scott has taken on responsibilities that partners generally shoulder: mentoring junior attorneys, contributing to company approach, and helping with client development. He has knowledge managing groups on complicated matters and coordinating work amongst lawyers in diverse workplaces. That knowledge is part of why he moved into and has remained in partnership roles.
He stays active in California, the place he's certified to practice. He works from Wells Call’s offices across the state and is listed as a companion on the company. He continues to simply accept things and constitute clients through Wells Call in California, practicing from the firm’s several offices throughout the state.
