About Beau
Beau Cross constructed his legal basis on two degrees from Texas Tech and an undergraduate liberal arts schooling. He earned a J.D. and a M.B.A. from Texas Tech University in 2009 and holds a B.A. in communication and history from Southwestern University, finished in 2006. His educational path combined legal training with enterprise study, an aggregate he has carried into practice.
Cross started his career in a firm placing quickly after law school. In 2010 he joined Burdett, Morgan, Williamson & Boykin, LLP as an affiliate, where he treated transactional work and client counseling. He moved into leadership roles within the following years. In 2012 he became president of the Panhandle Cancer Cure Foundation, a volunteer position that expanded his community ties. He later served as vice-president of Nexum 1031, LLC in 2015, a role tied to actual estate trade work. In 2017 he based the Law Office of Beau Cross, PLLC and assumed the position of president there.
Licensure in Texas followed his commencement. He has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 2009 and maintains lively status. He also joined the State Bar’s Real Estate & Probate Section and the Amarillo Area Estate Planning Council in 2010, and he has been part of the Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association since 2009. Those affiliations reflect the practical areas he has taken on in personal practice and network involvement.
Cross holds board certifications from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in two fields: Tax Law and Estate Planning & Probate Law. Those certifications signal concentrated training and checking out in the ones subject areas and inform the mix of matters he handles for clients. Over time his work has covered estate planning, probate administration, tax strategy and transactional things tied to real property, including 1031 exchanges thru his involvement with Nexum 1031.
Today Cross leads his own small company in Amarillo. His practice attracts on both legal and enterprise education, and on years spent in company practice and nonprofit governance. He is understood regionally for steady casework and for handling the day-to-day legal needs that arise in property, estate administration, tax, and real property things. He currently practices on the Law Office of Beau Cross, PLLC, where his work facilities on property making plans, estate administration, tax, and real property things.
