About Barry
Barry Deacon earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1975. He finished his law school training at some point of an era of difference in American regulation faculties. The diploma laid an extended basis for a profession spent largely in court work and trial practice.
After graduating he entered private practice and over the years constructed a practice centered in Texas. He maintains membership in the Texas bar and has stored active ties to Arkansas through the Arkansas Bar Association. His trail thru the profession has been steady instead of flashy. He moved from early affiliate positions into roles carrying complete responsibility for client representation and trial strategy.
Deacon is a recent member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice, organizations that connect trial lawyers across state lines and provide education on legal proceedings and trial advocacy. Those memberships reflect an ongoing engagement with developments in civil procedure, proof, and trial method. He has used those resources whilst making ready cases and participating within the trial procedure.
Colleagues describe his courtroom strategy as straightforward and methodical. He prepares instances with an eye fixed towards proof and practical presentation. His work has required drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and presenting arguments to judges and juries.
