About Barbara

Barbara Hartbrodt is the managing lawyer at Hartbrodt Law, P.A., a role she has held since 2016. She moved shortly from law program into practice, assuming leadership of her firm inside a yr of admission to the bar. Her practice has centered on matters common to trust and property planning, family regulation and trial practice.

Hartbrodt earned her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2015. During her time at the law program she focused her research in trusts and estate making plans, family law and trial practice. In 2014 she served as an affiliate lawyer–intern at the faculty’s Legal Advocacy Clinic, gaining hands-on experience representing clients and dealing with courtroom appearances beneath school supervision.

After finishing law school Hartbrodt established her personal practice and took on the role of managing lawyer at Hartbrodt Law, P.A. The early pass into company management placed administrative duties along client work. She balances those responsibilities by handling legal strategy, court filings and bargaining sessions while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office.

Her casework reflects the subjects she studied in law school. She handles trust and property planning things, including document drafting and estate administration-associated proceedings. Family law is a second pillar of the practice, where she addresses divorce, custody and related disputes. She also handles contested things that continue to trial, managing preparations from discovery thru courtroom presentation.

Hartbrodt maintains professional memberships and participates in legal circles in Florida. Her background in a law school clinic and speedy transition into practice inform the manner she strategies client things: methodical, realistic and attentive to procedural detail. She represents clients in state courts and in planning settings, emphasizing readability in documents and practical strategies in litigation.

She continues to steer Hartbrodt Law, P.A., where her practice concentrates on trusts and estate making plans, household law and trial practice.
