About B. J.
B. J. Richardson holds a J.D. from Saint Louis University and a LL.M. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Those degrees framed the early legal training that led to a continuous development into regulation office leadership and private practice.
Richardson moved into practice management early in their career. In 2004 they served as managing lawyer at The Courtney Law Office, where they treated every day firm operations and supervised case preparation. That position placed Richardson on the intersection of client service and office administration, sharpening skills in budgeting, staff oversight and case allocation.
In 2013 Richardson opened The Law Offices of BJ Richardson, LLC and assumed possession and lawyer duties. Establishing a private company required shifting from a supervisory role interior another office to constructing processes, managing client intake and directing litigation and transactional work under their personal banner. The pass displays a transition from managing company systems to operating them as principal.
Outside the office Richardson has been active in local expert networks. Since 2014 they have got served as Vice President of Business Networking International’s Springfield Business Connections chapter. That ongoing position consists of organizing conferences, fostering referrals among nearby professionals and representing the chapter in network gatherings. The role provides a civic and business-dealing with dimension to Richardson’s work as a lawyer.
Richardson is licensed to practice in Missouri. Over the years they have combined educational credentials and practical experience to handle both client-facing things and the inner demands of maintaining a law workplace.
