About Arkady Eric
Arkady Eric Rayz earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Temple University in 1998 and stayed at Temple for law program, receiving his J.D. in 2001. His time at Temple grounded him in legal studies and advocacy. The combination of a political science background and a Juris Doctor shaped a practice that has moved among court advocacy and appellate work.
He began his professional legal career the yr he graduated, joining Post & Schell, P.C. as an associate in 2001. The following year he took a staff lawyer position for Hon. Sandra Schultz Newman on the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. That position positioned him inside the state’s Supreme Court and exposed him to the processes that force appellate choice-making. In 2004 he returned to private practice as an affiliate at Kimmel & Silverman, P.C. By 2005 he was a member of Kalikhman & Rayz, LLC, a firm he has been associated with since then.
Rayz is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York. He also holds admission to the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those credentials allow him to appear in each trial and appellate venues and to handle things that move beyond state judiciary dockets. His admissions reflect a tradition that operates across multiple ranges of the judiciary rather than being confined to a single court.
Those who've labored with him note experience that spans court filings, short writing and the day-to-day needs of litigation. His yr in chambers for Justice Newman gave him a perspective on how judges review records and follow legal requirements. That knowledge informs how he prepares appeals and litigates matters in trial courts, the place attention to process and precedent often decides results.
Across his roles in firms and at the bench aspect, Rayz has maintained a continuous involvement in litigation. His resume shows a lawyer who has moved among private practice and judicial service and who has retained a foothold in both state and federal structures. The thru line is practical courtroom work supported by appellate experience.
He is a member of Kalikhman & Rayz, LLC and practices in boards that include state and federal courts, the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
