During her time at Western State, she was recognized with the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Procedure in 1993 and in Civil Procedure in 1991.
Ms. Gilbert concentrates her practice in felony protection law, representing individuals in matters involving drug crimes, DUI/DWI offenses, expungements, felonies, homicides, misdemeanors, parole and probation violations, sex crimes, theft, weapons charges, and domestic violence. Prior to founding her personal company, she served as a Deputy Public Defender in the Orange County Public Defender's Office from 1995 to 2021, gaining extensive experience in criminal defense.
