About Antonio

Antonio Garcia brings a mixture of business training and liberal arts to his work in the court. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Los Angeles in 1999, double majoring in records and political science. He later completed a MBA at Woodbury University in 2002. That combination of research set the stage for a career that pairs case strategy with attention to detail.

He released the Law Offices of Antonio R. Garcia in 2008. Since then he has served as owner and lead litigator. He built the practice around courtroom work and dealing with things that require litigation preparation and live advocacy. The company name has remained consistent since its founding and he continues to function from that platform.

Garcia is certified to practice in California. He holds memberships in several professional organizations, which includes the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Criminal Courts Bar Association, the California Public Defender's Association and the Mexican American Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect ordinary contact with trial courts, prosecutors, public defenders and other criminal defense lawyer across the region.

His background in business informs how he manages cases and runs his office. The MBA brought education in evaluation, budgeting and organizational systems. His undergraduate research in records and political science shaped how he evaluates testimony, context and motive. He applies those views when making ready witnesses, reviewing evidence and mapping trial timelines.

In daily practice he handles matters that continue to arraignment, initial proceedings and jury trials. He prepares motions, negotiates plea matters when suitable and conducts bench and jury trials. He works with investigators and expert witnesses when cases require technical or forensic evaluation. Colleagues describe him as methodical in making ready documents and continuous within the court.

Outside of litigation, Garcia oversees the enterprise side of his firm. He manages client intake, supervises case budgets and ensures documents pass thru court calendars. He is lively in bar activities tied to felony practice and community outreach thru bar affiliation packages. He continues to accept cases in California, the place he concentrates his practice on felony defense and trial work.
