About Annette
Annette Malena earned her undergraduate diploma at Emory University before returning to Georgia for law school. She acquired her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1995 and was licensed to the Georgia bar that same year. Her educational background set a continuous course for a career that has moved between public service, teaching and personal practice.
She began her professional legal career within the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office, serving as a Senior Assistant District Lawyer beginning in 1995. That role positioned her on the front lines of criminal litigation and trial work early in her professional life. The following year she took on a coaching position as an adjunct professor at Georgia Piedmont Technical College, a role that allowed her to combine trial experience with classroom instruction.
In the years after, Malena transitioned into contract work as a legal proceedings support lawyer in 2007. Those years in personal contracting gave her experience handling the practical and procedural aspects of civil legal proceedings for a range of clients. By 2021 she used to be practicing as a personal damage lawyer at Scholle Law, where her work has centered on representing people in claims springing up from motor automobile collisions and different critical accidents.
