Mr. Winghart earned his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School in 1999. Prior to law program, he completed his undergraduate education at Colorado State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts diploma in 1996. During his time at Tulane, he developed a strong foundation in a number of areas of law, which has informed his numerous practice.
Mr. Winghart concentrates his practice within the areas of business law, insurance claims, and highbrow estate. He advocates for individuals and businesses in things involving business contracts, business dissolution, business finance, business formation, business litigation, franchising, M&A transactions, partnership and shareholder disputes, insurance bad faith, enterprise coverage, disability coverage, health insurance, lifestyles coverage, motor automobile insurance, estate coverage, copyright, trademark, and exchange mystery issues. His practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial case assessment, discovery, mediation, settlement discussions, and trial proceedings in each state and federal courts.
Throughout his profession, Mr. Winghart has treated instances in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Mateo, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his personal firm, he worked as an affiliate at a mid-length legal proceedings company in Redwood City for 5 years.
Mr. Winghart is a member in good standing of the Alameda County Bar Association and the San Mateo County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Santa Clara County Plaintiff Trial Lawyers Association. He devotes his volunteer time to Lawyers within the Library and the San Mateo County Community Law Night. Mr. Winghart is English-speaking and Spanish, permitting him to serve the numerous groups of the Bay Area successfully.
