About Amy Kathryn
Amy Kathryn Pietrowski earned a B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of Mississippi, finishing her research in 1995. She returned to school later and received her J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law in 2013. Those milestones mark a long path thru several different fields earlier than she settled into legal practice.
Her early career began in uniform. Pietrowski served as a non-commissioned officer within the United States Marine Corps beginning in 1989. After leaving active service she began an enterprise, founding Executive Profiles in 1997 and serving as its leader executive. She later labored in social services on the Baker County Council on Aging in 2005. In the years that observed she moved into schooling, coaching at Canton Elementary School in 2007 after which at Pearl Junior High in 2009.
That variety of experience preceded her admission to the bar. After earning her Juris Doctor in 2013 she entered personal practice and established Pietrowski Law Practice. She is admitted to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee and holds memberships in the State Bar of Mississippi and the Tennessee State Bar. Her court admissions extend to the Supreme Court of Mississippi, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi.
Pietrowski’s memberships mirror points of expert interest. She belongs to the American Association of Premier DUI Lawyers, the American Bar Association, and nearby bar teams including the Lafayette and Lee County Bar Associations. She also participates in volunteer legal efforts through Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers and keeps ties to veterans’ organizations such because the United States Marine Corps Women’s League. Those affiliations and her federal and state admissions allow her to take cases that require representation at trial and on attraction.
