About Amber Yerkey
Amber Yerkey James constructed a trail to law that started with song and management. She earned a B.A. in Music from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998 and added a MBA from UAB in 2000. She finished her J.D. at Birmingham School of Law in 2006 and entered practice soon after.
James joined the Alabama bar in 2005 and opened her own practice the subsequent yr. In 2006 she established James Family Law Center, LLC and began handling household law matters on the trial and client level. Two years later she returned to Birmingham School of Law as an adjunct professor, teaching and mentoring college students while keeping a private practice.
Her career grew to include roles past the nearby courtroom. In 2012 she served as of counsel to the International Fertility Law Group, PC, a position that brought reproductive regulation matters into her repertoire. In 2014 she have become CEO of New Beginnings Family Law, P.C., a firm position that added administrative management to her responsibilities as a lawyer.
