About Alexis M.
Alexis M. Miloszewski graduated from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2005 after earning a B.A. in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. She began her legal background during law program, operating as a licensed legal intern in 2007 for the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office and Widener’s Civil Law Clinic. Those early placements have been followed by a law clerk stint at Gover, Perry & Shore and a 2006 internship with The Hon. Jolene Grubb Korpiva, P.J., that gave her the front-line court publicity.
After law school she moved into county-degree public work. In 2008 she served as Juvenile Conflict Counsel for Dauphin County, a position that placed her on juvenile dockets and involved conservatorship and representation issues for younger humans. That identical yr she also joined Shaffer & Engle Law Offices, LLC as a lawyer, increasing her practice knowledge in family and domestic-family members things.
Her private practice trail continued with JSDC Law Offices, the place she is indexed as an attorney starting in 2012. She works out of the company’s Hershey and Mechanicsburg workplaces. Over the years she has treated cases that sit on the intersection of family law and juvenile matters, drawing on both her public service background and courtroom experience.
Miloszewski has been active in nearby bar governance and expert organizations. She served as treasurer of the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Family Law Section in 2014, secretary in 2015, vice-chair in 2016 and chair in 2017. She joined the Dauphin County Bar Association’s board of directors in 2019 and continues to serve. She is also an affiliate member of The William W. Lipsitt American Inn of Court and has been part of the Family Law Advisory Committee for Dauphin County since 2017.
Beyond the courthouse, she has held civic and volunteer roles, which includes a time period at the Dauphin County Library System Board of Trustees from 2012 to 2014, and involvement with the Junior League of Harrisburg in 2012. These roles mirror a curiosity in local institutions and legal education instead of a purely personal practice profile.
That blend of public-sector juvenile work, family law area management and steady practice at JSDC Law Offices shapes how she strategies cases. She handles household law and related juvenile matters at JSDC Law Offices’ Hershey and Mechanicsburg workplaces.
