About Alexandre Neuerburg
Alexandre Neuerburg Turner took a roundabout route to the law. He studied biology at Haverford College, earning a B.S. in 1989. A decade later he completed his J.D. on the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1999. The combination of a science background and legal training shaped a strategy that values cautious truth-gathering and methodical case preparation.
Turner began his court work on the public-defense aspect. In 2002 he joined the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office as an assistant public defender. That early work placed him in a hectic trial environment and exposed him to a wide mix of felony things. In 2004 he moved to Philadelphia and served as an assistant defender on the Defender Association of Philadelphia, the place he continued dealing with trials and making ready case strategy under tight time limits.
After several years in public defense Turner transitioned to private practice for a period. In 2009 he joined Ballard Spahr LLP as an affiliate. The role at a giant company added knowledge with company processes, client management, and case improvement in a different setting from the public defender offices. Three years later he left to begin his personal company.
In 2012 Turner opened The Law Offices of Alexandre Turner, LLC. He has run that firm since then. The pass gave him full control over case selection and workplace operations. He manages each the legal work and the administrative side of a small practice. Over time his caseload has mirrored the practical abilities he first developed in public protection and later honed in private practice.
Turner’s practice draws on trial experience and the procedural knowledge gained throughout diverse roles. He has worked in high-volume public defender settings and in a large-firm surroundings, then applied those views to his personal practice. He seems in Pennsylvania courts and handles things that require litigation, bargaining, and detailed preparation. His work emphasizes courtroom readiness and careful evaluate of the factual record.
As of 2026 Turner continues to operate his company in Pennsylvania. He focuses his practice on criminal defense work and related legal proceedings in state courts.
