About Albert Wm. (Bill) Barber

Albert Wm. (Bill) Barber III trained in the study room and learned in the court. He took the traditional path thru college and law school, emerging ready to practice in Kentucky courts and in federal forums. The years that formed him have been spent studying political science and the law.

He earned a B.A. in political science from Transylvania University in 1990 and a J.D. from the University of Louisville in 1993. Those credentials placed him amongst a cohort of Kentucky lawyers who entered practice in the early 1990s. The academic record is easy. After law school he established his practice in Kentucky. He is admitted to practice within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has maintained that bar club and people federal admissions whilst practicing from his office.
