About Ahmad
Ahmad Sulaiman took a path to regulation that began in politics and markets. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Loyola University Chicago in 1994 and later returned to the identical university for his J.D., awarded in 2002. The blend of public service and personal enterprise that appears throughout his résumé traces again to those early years.
Before and during his legal studies, Sulaiman worked in a variety of roles that exposed him to business and public affairs. In 1997 he served in constituent offerings for the office of Senator Richard J. Durbin, a position that concerned direct public contact and issue decision. He moved into the personal sector the next year as director of Sulaiman Trading Partners, Inc., and by 2000 he was managing dealer at Options Partners, Ltd. Those positions gave him an operational grasp of markets and dispute-susceptible transactions.
After law school, Sulaiman moved quickly into personal practice. In 2003 he became managing partner at the Law Offices of Sulaiman & Associates, L.L.C. Sulaiman holds memberships within the Illinois State Bar and has been a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel since 2009. He additionally joined the American Bankruptcy Institute in 2009. Those affiliations mirror experience on both facets of shopper-credit matters, bankruptcy-associated problems, and civil litigation involving business parties.
Since 2017 he has been managing shareholder at Atlas Consumer Law. In that role he oversees a practice that handles shopper protection things, creditor-debtor disputes and bankruptcy-associated issues, and associated civil litigation. He continues to practice in Illinois, where he keeps his bar club and leads the firm in instances involving consumer and debt problems.
