About Aaron
Aaron Nielson earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2003. The Juris Doctor followed research in legal and business subjects. He left law school organized for courtroom work and municipal prosecution.
He began his career in public service. In 2003 he served as a prosecutor for Taylorsville City and for the City of Holiday. Two years later he labored as a prosecutor in the Utah County Lawyer's Office. Those early courtroom years gave him experience on both misdemeanor and criminal dockets and publicity to municipal and county procedures.
Nielson moved into private practice within the latter 1/2 of the 2000s. In 2007 he joined Keith Barton & Associates as an attorney. By 2009 he had opened the Law Office of Aaron Nielson. Over time his work expanded beyond trial prosecution into protection and shopper things. He has handled instances that require negotiation with prosecutors and representation in contested hearings.
He maintains memberships in numerous expert organizations that reflect his areas of practice. He belongs to the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also holds membership within the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Those affiliations connect him to colleagues who practice across criminal protection and consumer bankruptcy work.
